Meet the HIIVE GYM Team

Heather Carson
Owner
Born and raised in California, I became a permanent resident of Las Vegas in 2000. I’m proud to call this vibrant city home, where I live with my husband and our two children. Being active within the community has always been an important part of who I am—both personally and professionally.
My entrepreneurial journey began in 2018 when my husband and I launched our first business together. Since then, we’ve built and managed several successful ventures, always with a focus on giving back and supporting locals. Each experience strengthened our passion for creating meaningful connections and building businesses that serve the community.
My personal fitness journey began after the birth of my second child, when I set out to take control of my health and well-being. Through my journey of improving physical and mental health, I realized the powerful impact that a gym like the HIIVE could have.
The HIIVE was created to bring something fresh and needed to Las Vegas: a space where people can focus on themselves, connect with others, and grow stronger—mind and body. At the same time, we wanted to provide peace of mind for parents by offering high-quality, fairly priced childcare services. The HIIVE is more than a gym—it’s a community hub where everyone can feel supported, inspired, and at home.

Su also has an impressive athletic background in rugby, starting at age 12 and going on to represent the United States internationally from age 13 through graduation. Su’s final international competition was the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games, bringing valuable experience in high-level athletics, strength training, and contact sports.

Thomas

Thomas Horne earned his degree in Exercise Science from Cornell College in 2022. Since graduating, he has worked across multiple areas of the fitness industry, including leading group fitness classes and coaching small group personal training sessions for both athletes and the general population.
Most recently, Thomas has been interning with the UNLV Football Strength and Conditioning staff, where he continues to expand his knowledge of performance training and personal development.
Thomas is passionate about coaching because it allows him to keep an open mind, learn something new every day, and help others grow. He is dedicated to motivating and teaching people to become the best version of themselves, both in and out of the gym.

Abbey
Trainer
Abbey is a trainer at The HIIVE who brings over 15 years of fitness experience to her coaching. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, she has called Las Vegas home since 2005. In addition to being a coach, Abbey is also a busy mom of four who believes that building strength helps people show up better in every area of life.
Abbey is NASM certified as a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Specialist, and Weight Loss Specialist, and she also holds a Master’s degree in Health Education. Her training style blends strength training, bootcamp, and HIIT with functional movements that help clients feel stronger and more capable in everyday life.
Her personal health journey, including battling thyroid disease and undergoing a thyroidectomy, has fueled her passion for helping others discover their resilience and inner strength.
Outside of the gym, Abbey enjoys spending time outdoors, playing golf, lifting, and chasing adventures with her family. She believes in conquering life one rep—and one swing—at a time. 💪

Nicole brings a positive, welcoming energy to the front desk at the HIIVE. Originally from Michigan, she has been enjoying life in Las Vegas since 2009 and is excited to be part of such a motivating and supportive fitness community.
Fitness has always been a big passion for Nicole. She believes that working out is one of the best forms of self-love and respect you can give your body, mind, and soul, and an important part of living a long, healthy life.
Outside of the gym, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband—who she jokingly says she has to drag to the gym with her—and their three spoiled fur babies who run the house.
Nicole looks forward to meeting members and helping create a positive experience for everyone who walks through the doors at The HIIVE.
